Inspiring minds through STEM disciplines
and the world around us
Why STEM?
Inspiring Creative Thinkers, Innovators, Inventors
An early introduction to engaging and purposeful STEM-based projects plants the seed for a lifelong interest in STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics). Participants gain first-hand experience working with actual science equipment which is not available within the classic primary education system in Australia.
Teacher & Parent, SIRIUS COLLEGE
“Raising innovators, creative thinkers, and inventors”
Science club is the greatest initiative I have seen in a while at Sirius College. I am of the firm belief that STEM or STEAM cannot be taught out of the box and it needs to be a specialist subject, taught by specialist educators/teachers. Science club has taught my daughter hands-on science. She has gained an incredible interest in microbiology and developed the vital skills to think critically, explore and become more knowledgeable. I hope this club continues in 2020 and my daughter is already looking forward to continuing where she left off from. This club is about raising innovators, creative thinkers, and inventors.
